R.I.S.E. (Reflex Integration to Support Education)
"Supporting Fundamentals in Improved Learning, Skills and Behavior"
This Developmental Exercise & Reflex Integration Program is a one-day course that helps therapists, teachers and other allied professionals in the detection and remediation of neurodevelopmental delays in children with specific learning difficulties and/or coordination and movement deficits. This program can be instituted into the regular classroom environment affording ALL children the benefits of exercise while providing further support for those students who require additional attention.

TheraPeeds uses an interactive medium in all classes and the programs are structured to cover each of the learning outcomes in each segment of instruction. The conclusion of each segment involves a review of the content covered and questions to assess the acquisition of learning outcomes.
At the completion of this class participants will have learned:

The role of reflexes in development.
The links between neurological development and readiness for learning.
Hands-on reflexes testing techniques.
Hands-on practical exercises.
This conference is directed toward Educators and members of other professions allied to Education including School Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physical Education Teachers, Speech and Language Pathologists, and others. This training program can be utilized in the classroom as well as in physical education classes. OTs, PTs, SLPs and School Psychologists can assist or lead in the testing and implementation of the program.
